nerd rant.
i love my uni…
when i can analyse the worldview underpinning the things i watch, read and listen to really open my eyes to why as i engage myself with it and the subconscious effects it may have on me. Gossip Girl, The Outsiders and Thrice are completely different (from post modernism/imperialism to nihilism to existentialism) however at times can express the same tenors to depress or to find hope depending also upon the audience theistic approach to life.
christian studies always takes longer than needed because it’s interesting. nerd.

its almost over…
i think my mum who is now in heaven has turned into my guardian angle pairing with God to make my dreams and his will come true. Why? Because today i had my lecture visit which is a little nerve wracking especially as i didn’t know who he was and i a little unsure of the topic. However the lesson went very smoothly with my instructions and questions very clear, students working in groups was the best group work i have seen by them and at one point they were even writing in silence, yep total silence by a year 4 class. I am feeling tremendously blessed and guided. Love my God and love my mum :)

today in morning class devotions one of the girls asked if she could pray for Miss Roe aka me… she began her prayer “lord, i pray that Miss Roe will teach a really good lesson and we will learn lots… it better be fun!”
once i had taught my lesson in the afternoon that little girl came up to me and said “i love when God answers prayers”
I may have a new favourite student.
